Mar 8 Encore Field Trip < Suspended due to MiscroSkills' Closure

Thank God for another chance at the snow! Before we leave for March Break, we get to enjoy Earl Bales Ski & Snowboard Centre again.

Feb 10 Homework Day: Do not come to school!

Please complete your work from home, and publish your artefact by 2:30 p.m.!

As announced, there's no school today, but there is homework for you to complete before 2:30 p.m.

Your tasks:

1. Write your field trip report about this week’s visit to EBSSC.
1. Include names and details of 3 classmates.
2. Describe what and who surprised you the most.
2. Be sure to include some pictures from here.
3. Publish by 2:30 p.m.

Feb 8 Field Trip to a Ski Resort in the City

Our first ski trip to our usual venue of Earl Bales this year is on Feb 8 (the second is on March 2)! Do arrive by 9:50 a.m. to get ready for equipment fitting. You might like to bring a lunch if the cafeteria does not open on that day.

Please feel free to invite friends and family.

a.     $40 per person—program till 2 p.m.

 Feb 2 Field Trip to an Outdoor Rink and a Free Concert

This fun trip consists of a brief morning skate at 10 a.m. at Harbourfront Centre's Natrel Rink, followed by a walk over to Roy Thompson Hall for a free noon concert by Victoria Scholars Men's Choir. Those going direct to the concert should be there by 11:10 a.m.

Jan 20 Jan 27 Field Trip to P-Mall

Our Lunar New Year Eve's field trip to Pacific Mall starts at 10:55 a.m. at the mall entrance (see picture above). Those going from Don Mills Station can make use of this map. Feel free to connect with your classmates to car pool or meet at the station. Bring a sense of adventure and festivity, a camera to snap pictures with, and some money for shopping and lunch! Ask lots of questions and have fun!

Jan 18 Field Trip to UofT

Our field trip begins by meeting and leaving from Bayview TTC Station's Westbound Platform at 9:30 a.m. Getting off at Bloor-Yonge Station, we hike along Bloor to the Philosopher's Walk behind the ROM and arrive around 10:30a.m. at George Ignatieff Theatre.

After doing a GPS location-based activity there, we will tour other selected parts of the UofT campus before ending at Queens Park TTC Station. Be sure to dress warm, bring your camera, and be ready for a fun time out.
