Thursday's Field Trip: An Appetite for Business?

A bit of both business and pleasure, hopefully, was what we all got on today's field trip to City Hall.

Here are some pictures of the visit, but feel free to tag yourselves on our FB album.

Halin Ying, Lily, Joyce, Linda, Max, John, Richard, Fottimah, Mariam, Mahsan, Sara, and Sutharsan get ready for lunch.
All set for  Tasty Tuesdays!

Has everybody Eaton yet?

Shh, some lucrative business deals coming up ... I have the feeling I'm gonna get offered a fulltime position in that new company ... as a junior janitor.

This Thursday's field trip downtown will be aimed at teasing our entrepreneurial desires and multicultural palates.

So, as often is the case, we'll be leaving from Bayview Subway Station's Westbound Platform at 10 a.m. and getting off at Queen Subway Station (Some of you may wish to meet at Don Mills Station at 9:30 a.m.). From there it's a short walk over to City Hall and Nathan Phillips Square to enjoy the following:

  1. Enterprise Toronto Office: visit their resource library, meet officers, and take in the business habitat there including meeting rooms, a public library, government counters, etc.
  2. Tasty Thursdays Lunch Event: while break-dancing boys and girls entertain, sample cuisines from all over the world from Malaysian and Hawaiian to Vegetarian and American.

Who's going to have a good time?
