Tuesday's Assignment

Welcome back! Hope you had a great Victoria Day long weekend.

First, congratulations to Cheng and Sally for completing their 25 portfolio tasks! It was not an easy feat, and they have done well in finishing six tasks for each of the four skills plus an About Me section. But all of you who did your tasks the best you could can celebrate--keep up the great work!

More pictures here!

We have just one more thing to do for the tasks--please add your Self-Assessment and Reflection on at least one task of each skill--one or more for Listening, one or more for Speaking, etc. All you need to do is to click on the edit pencil icon, copy the instruction for the task (L/S/R/W), and write in your assessment and reflection.

When you're done, click below for today's assignment:

Friday May 13th Field Trip: Free Concert at RTH

With Gaby and friend Angela, Tina, Xiaoyun, Meizi, Xinyang, Cheng, and Alaa. More pictures here.
For one of the last free noon-hour concerts of the season, we'll be heading to Roy Thomson Hall on Friday to enjoy some stunning organ music and the Toronto Mass Choir. To get there on time, do plan to leave no later than on the 10:27 a.m. train from Don Mills Station. Those who gather and enter together by 11:15 a.m. could sit together throughout the concert.

You are welcome to bring older children and adult friends and family, and do remember to maintain good concert etiquette.

At the end of the concert, let's meet at the entrance for a group photo and perhaps head out to lunch together.
Don't forget to post your comments before and after the concert below!
