Friday's Field Trip

Called Toronto's Vatican City, the University of Toronto was our destination of choice for last Friday's field trip.

Eisa, Sossy, Sharareh, Hong, Zahra, Shekoufeh, Fottima, Saida, William and, from Workplace English, Raul.

Brave classmates all, grimly enduring an inexplicable TTC subway delay, navigating the immense, unfamiliar campus, and trudging through double-digit subzero weather! More pictures here.

This Friday (Jan. 30) our field trip begins at 10:30 a.m. with a guided campus tour from the Visitor Centre of the University of Toronto.



After the general tour, we get to check out the Startup Career Expo at the MARS Discovery District. Please register if you have not already done so.

If time permits, we might go for lunch together. Do dress for the weather, and bring a sense of curiosity and enquiry!

Those leaving from Don Mills Station should depart no later than on the 9:30 a.m. subway and get off at Queen's Park Station. Those who car pool should plan extra time for parking and not be late. Latecomers might find it a challenge to locate their classmates via cellphone on the sprawling campus.
