Joseph's class become a window open up for me to get to know the culture and life in Canada. I can't imagine how long it will take for me to well adapt to Canada society if I just stay at home to look after my baby and go to supermarket occasionally which already occupies my daily life. It is probably much easier as English major graduates to speak English again. However English exams in China focus on writing and reading, and my major goal is to talk and live a life a native Canadian and it perhaps makes my situation more special than other classmates. Speaking of the most enjoyable activity, definitely it is the field trip because I am not going to have classes on that day! I always bring my family and have a lot of fun to visit many well known places in Canada that I have never been before. As for class, what makes special is that I never try dictation for lyrics of Canada National Anthem while Joseph's singing. Joseph’s class also delivers how to obtain information resources of public services which greatly helps a new immigrant for settlement.

I also have enjoyed his field trip, 3-column Dictation Triptych conversations and check-list. I appreciate that I had opportunity of presentation from Joseph.
