What is an acronym? Do you know the meaning of short forms like NAFTA, NASA, NATO, CUPE, CSIS, scuba, radar, sonar, laser, ROTFL, LOL, WYSIWYG, and CAD/CAM? How about NORAD?

1. Google for NORAD, look briefly at a few articles, click on Images, and write down its full form. Watch this video and tell a partner what NORAD is all about.
2. Then discuss this article with your partner.
3. Again, find a partner and practise role playing this: Getting a Visa to Travel.
