It was the best of Canada, and it wasn't the best of Canada at the latest job fair in this great country.
Arriving on time, all bright-eyed and bushy tailed, our classmates Farzeneh, Firouzeh, Lena, Kate, Katie, Angela, Anna, Ying, Judy, Rahim, Dorina, Hamid, Ming, Jane, and Judy, some with resumes in hand, were all raring to go.
Opening time was announced as 10 a.m., but nobody, incredibly, could get in till half an hour later.
Making lemonade from the lemons of life, we switched out to the free talk instead, and what a great informative and inspirational session it turned out to be. Cheryl Rankin of Fit for Business got cookin' immediately on the one-minute [speech], 10 adjectives that describe you, and how to turn your weaknesses to advantage. Perhaps someone among us had a confidence boost with which to ace interviews.
The rest of the day was for the exploration of the exhibition area and lunch. Can't wait to hear from everybody via your blog posts!
